Our mobile gem mine brings the field trip to you—no buses, transportation, or off-campus planning required!

Students enjoy a fun, hands-on experience as they learn about rocks, minerals, and gemstones while mining for their own treasures. Every student takes home:

• Their own collection of gems and minerals
• A gemstone identification card to help identify their discoveries

Unlike many gem mining companies, we custom blend and package all of our own rough, allowing us to include a wide variety of gemstones, minerals, and rocks to create a more exciting and educational experience for students.

We handle all setup and cleanup, making it easy for your staff. Our sluice accommodates 8–9 students at a time, allowing everyone to participate while keeping the experience organized and engaging. We can accommodate approximately 30 students per hour, making it easy to schedule multiple classes throughout the school day.

Pricing

• $13 per student
• $100 booking fee per event
• A minimum of 30 students is required for school bookings.
• Schools located more than 30 miles away are subject to additional travel fees.
• Optional Upgrade: Add fossils and/or shark teeth to each student’s bag for an additional $2 per student.
